It's been a while, but I'm trying to run DME effect 1132, and I can't seem to assign anything to Util2. Can someone please help?

When you're running in Multi-Program 2 mode, the mode changes the output of the particular ME from having Util outputs, to instead have ME Sub PGM/PVW outputs.  Once enabled in the menu (page 7331), that state is snapshotable ... so if you don't always need MP-2, you could create a snapshot that recalls this particular DME effect that also switches your ME back to Standard or Multi Program and feeds your Util 2 source.  You could then create a snapshot to restore the state of your ME back to MP-2 mode.

If you're having problems with this, it may be one of two things: If the DME is wired to act as "internal" (Processed Key) then you should be able to change the U2 video by holding down the Utility button & selecting a source on the M/E's B bus.

If on the other hand the DME is wired to act as "External" (via a serial connection), then the inputs to the DME must be mapped on the AUX panel - this also includes the DME's Utility Bus inputs.

What mode is the M/E in?  Just thinking that if the resources are being used for Multi-Program 2, that Util 2 may not be available for your effect.
